Can FactNet models be interfaced with on-line systems?

0

FactNet models are used in a wide variety of on-line analysis, optimization and control systems. To do this, a flexible, user configurable Integrated Millwide Analysis (IMAS) platform is used for interfacing to on-line DCS’s (Bailey, PulpExpert, Accuray, etc.). Metso Automation’s IMAS system allows data from multiple sources to be gathered, merged and time synchronized on-line in real time. This data can then be processed using FactNet models, with the model predictions to be trended, reported inside of Excel spreadsheets, or sent back to the DCS for use in closed loop or open loop control.
