Can F-1 students work on-campus if they are participating in practical training (OPT or CPT)?
Yes, but if it is pre-completion OPT or part-time CPT, their total work hours for all work must not exceed 20 hours while school is in session. If they are participating in post-completion OPT or full-time CPT, they may work full-time during the periods OPT or CPT is authorized on page 3 of their I-20.
