Can experiential learning or volunteer activities satisfy the Service Learning (PR-S) requirement?
Volunteer work or experiential learning alone will not satisfy the PR-S requirement; students must engage in tasks that benefit their service-learning organization or the clients that it serves. These tasks should allow students to apply knowledge from their academic coursework to their service-learning activities. Proposals for new PR-S courses must be accompanied by a detailed plan for the oversight and evaluation of students’ service learning activities.
