His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, announced a new law in August 2005 regulating the right to own and transfer real estate by citizens and expatriates. This law was followed by an announcement from the Executive Council of areas within Abu Dhabi emirate where expatriates can invest in real estate. ALDAR’s Al Raha Beach is one of these areas.
