Can Enterprise Manager update central installations of Sophos Anti-Virus on NetWare or Unix servers?

0

Yes, Enterprise Manager can update central installations (CIDs) of Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows, even if the CIDs are held on NetWare or Unix servers. • If the CIDs are on a NetWare server, the NetWare client account used must allow Enterprise Manager to log on to the NetWare server, and must be able to create, read and write files. For details, see the Enterprise Manager release notes. • If the CIDs are on a Unix server, Enterprise Manager must have read and write access to the share on the Unix server that contains the Sophos Anti-Virus CIDs. The Windows workstations must be able to access the Sophos share on the server, e.g. under SAMBA.
