Can employees who manage or supervise student employees attend Flight School?
Several supervisors of student employees have taken the series and found it very useful for their purposes. However please keep in mind that managing and supervising UNI students is different from managing full-time UNI employees. The current curriculum focuses on full-time employees and the UNI core values specific to them. My managers and supervisors are not available to attend classes on Tuesday mornings. The series will be offered on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, alternating with each new semester. Training and Development surveyed A&F managers and supervisors this summer and asked when they would prefer to attend training sessions. The two most preferred times were Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, so those are the days well provide the workshops.
