A. If an employee uses the debit card to pay for a medical expense, FSA dollars will be spent first. Once the FSA funds are depleted, additional costs will be charged against the GE-funded savings account. If the debit card is not used at the point of service, online portal enables participants to select HRA or FSA funds for reimbursement. Read more about FSAs.
