Can Emory College students take courses in the Business School?
We welcome College students on a space-available basis. Most Business School electives require the core class as a pre-requisite. Because BBA students need to complete all the core classes, Emory College students must wait until the schedule change period (drop/add) at the beginning of the semester to register. In some cases, course work in a related field may enable a College student to take an elective without the relevant core class if the instructor determines that the student has sufficient background. However, please note that the Business School Registrar manages enrollment numbers and a faculty member cannot place you in a class. During pre-registration, Business Economics (Bus 201), Decision Science (BUS 350), Financial Accounting (BUS 210), and Managerial Accounting (BUS 211) are open to all Emory students, as are some electives, depending on the content.
