The Emecole 121 Fast Systems are designed to thicken rapidly (even in a thin film, as in a crack) to prevent leaking out behind a foundation crack during injections. These systems are specifically designed to rapidly react and need to be meter/mixed through a static mixer using either dual cartridges or a dispensing machine. They should not be hand-mixed in quantities greater than 10-20 grams or they will rapidly generate excessive exothermic heat and can degrade.
