Yes. Users with Manage Items with Approval privilege on a page will be allowed to create and modify items on that page, but the modifications are published only after they are approved. Default approval is by the page owner. A Page Group or page owner can also define a custom, multi-step approval process at the page group or page level. For each step, you can identify one or more users or groups as approvers. You then choose if you want the notice for approval sent to the users or groups serially (one-at-a-time) or in parallel (all together). In addition, you specify if approval is required from all approvers on the list or any one user on the list. A new Status portlet tells item submitters and administrators if an approval is still pending and when items have been approved or rejected. A new Notifications portlet notifies approvers when an item is waiting to be approved.
