Can Dystonia and Alzhemiers be associated in one person?

Mother has dementia and alzhemiers. She rests her head on her right shoulder. She can lift it, but only for a few seconds. She shakes occassionaly and at does not want to be touched. Please let me know as the doctor does not seem to know what is wrong!
