Yes, the static routing feature allows the selection of a preferred path for unicast traffic between two Optical Packet Edge modules on a ring. All unicast traffic from the source node to the destination node is routed through the selected path, if the selected path is available. If the selected path becomes unavailable, traffic is routed through the other path until the selected path is again available.
