Can DXN Aquazeon™ water pass the Electric Precipitator Test which is used to prove the purity of drinking water?
No. DXN Aquazeon™ water is a mineralised water. Electric Precipitators rely on a process called electrolysis which merely indicates the presence of minerals in water; there is no reaction when tested on demineralised water but a brown sludge is produced when used on mineralised water. Unscrupulous sales people who promote Reverse Osmosis or Distilled water systems use this test as a convincing sales tool because of its visual shock effect to show that their systems unlike mineralized water produce pure, contaminant-free water. It is a false and misleading interpretation.
