Can Dust Cause Blue Screen Of Death Or Overheat?

0

I have the blue screen of death too. My computer is a Dell, purchased in 2004. I have tried to see if there is a windows fix for it, but each time I connect the flat screen monitor again, the monitor doesn’t work. I connected my computer to an old 1995 monitor I have, and the computer works fine. I use Firefox for my internet, and with it, I am able to increase the size of my fonts. I’m thinking my blue screen was caused by some software, or a power burst or slow outage (brownout). I’m really careful with dust, so I don’t think that causes it.
