Can DualDesk be configured to allow inbound connections?
NO! Absolutely NOT, to do so would be a huge security risk! DualDesk was designed from the ground up to increase security by specifically not allowing inbound connections as it serves no useful purpose since the server always connects outbound to the viewer and always re-connects if the connection is lost or the computer is rebooted. Unlike similar on-demand software, DualDesk does not allow inbound connections that hackers can exploit. The customer cannot change the DualDesk server settings to allow inbound connections since there are none to change. If you need to allow inbound connections, we recommend using VPN or installing a full featured remote control package with maximum security features enabled and change the passwords often.
