Can drinking too much water be bad? How much should I drink?

It is theoretically possible to drink too much water. But these instances usually only occur in very rare situations where you combine drinking excessive amounts of water, in conjunction with extreme stresses to your body. People have died, but they were drinking amounts of water that were totally excessive. A 3 year old died when given 3 liters of water over a 4 hour period. To scale up, you’d need to be drinking in the range of 15-20L, something I’m sure you’d notice as ‘wierd’. Your amounts seem reasonable drinking over a day long period. Also since you jog, it is important to drink water as well. Don’t concern yourself with this. Your mental energies would be better spent enjoying your jog!
