Of course drainage grates can have water drained off through the AquaDrain® EK surface drainage system. This makes proper door connections in compliance with DIN 18195, Part 5 possible, as well as according to the “Flat Roof Guidance Directive” (according to which the threshold height, the raising of the seal in this area, can be reduced from 15 cm above the upper edge of the covering to 5 cm above the upper edge of the covering). Easy-access thresholds using AquaDrain® BF drain grates are also possible (as a special construction).
