Can downloaded Sims 2 files (for PC) work for The Sims 2 on Mac?
yes they wil work the files for the mac and pc versiosn fo the game are exactly the same you can copy your whole sims 2 folder over from the pc to the macintosh and the game wil do the rest as long as you put the files in the right location the EA folder in the documents folder or if its an older edition the sims 2 folder in the documents folder start the game up and your families should all be there all th downloads should just work and if you just want the download only copy the downloads folder to the sims 2 folder in the documents folder on the macintosh ( its easier then it sounds) as far as your families go you can only save them and their lot as a package file you can only do this in game by clicking on the lot and choose to save the lot as a package file save each games as apackage file copy it to the macintosh and double click it the game will again do the rest you can find the families and lots in the lot menu of every neighbourhood to april : sims 2 was ported to the macinto
