Can DoHA define what additional services high care residents can receive?
Additional care and services that RACFs must provide, at no cost, for residents receiving a high level of residential care include: additional furnishings; bedding materials (such as rails and sheepskins); goods to assist residents to move themselves; goods to assist staff to move residents; goods to assist with toileting and incontinence management; basic medical and pharmaceutical supplies and equipment (eg analgesia, dressings); nursing services; medications; therapy services; oxygen and oxygen equipment.
