Can dogs get sick eating Beneful dog food?
In my opinion this food is terrible and I have seen many dogs on this food be very sick! Three different cases in the past year of relatively young and healthy dogs suddenly having severe kidney disease and they were all on this food. I suppose it could be a coincidence but I would not take any chances if I was you. Also one of my biggest problems with this food is that it boasts that many of its main ingredients are vegetables. HELLO but dogs are carnivores and should have a diet mainly consisting of meat. In the wild dogs do not forage for veggies but hunt prey for meat. There is so many better foods out there, such as Eukanuba, Purina Pro Plan, Iams, and Nutros, or ask your vet to recommend something for you and your pup. Hope this helps!!
