Can dogs and Dwarf Rabbits get along?

0

They can get along. It is likely that the dog will be scared of the rabbit, and maybe with some time and slow introduction they can learn to be friends or play together. My cats and my rabbit get along just fine. If your dog was aggressive or even highly interested in the hamsters then it might not work, but being sort of uninterested in them means that a rabbit will probably also be not that interesting and probably scary for the dog. Rabbits can be very bossy to other animals, and you might want to try and find one that is a little bossy and won’t put up with anything from the dog. You should only let them around each other supervised at least until you know for sure there won’t be any problems. With our first rabbit it was a couple months before we would even take a shower with them all out, with our current rabbit it was about a week before I knew they wouldn’t do anything to the rabbit and she would chase the cats around.
