Can Divisions use Panels funding to supplement payments that GPs and AHSPs receive via the MBS?
Aged Care Panels funding cannot be used to supplement MBS, or any other Australian Government funding. Panels funds are provided to improve primary care access to RACFs. Panels funding should be used to remove barriers to patient care, not to increase remuneration for GPs and allied health providers for the provision of that care.
