In essence, your baby’s gender is only determined by one thing – which sex chromosome fertilizes your egg first. If a Y gets the job done, then you’ll get a boy. If an X gets there first, you’ll get a girl. However, there is A LOT that goes into who wins that race. The racers in this scenario are very different. The Y or boy sperm are incredibly weak.
