Can DeskProto import all STL files ?
Yes: DeskProto understands the complete STL definition, both the binary and the ASCII format. STL stands for STereo Lithography (sometimes also explained as Standard Triangle Language). Stereolithography was the first addittive RP system. It’s supplier defined the STL file, and luckily all other RP suppliers followed that definition. The file describes the outer surface of a part as a very large quantity of triangles.
