Yes, Daikin Altherma can run in hot water mode up to an ambient temperature of 95F (35C). The heating and cooling version alternate between hot water mode and cooling mode. At outside temperatures exceeding 95F (35C), hot water can still be produced using the booster heater, or through Solar if integrated to a solar thermal solution.
