Yes demon tools can mount mdf images. The mds file is the info type file & it must have the same name as the mdf file.If teir names do not match try renaming the mds file the same as the mdf file.The mdf file is the actual image file. You should mount the mdf file in demon tools. Before mounting check if the number of virtual drives is at least set to 1. If you have problem mounting into demon tools i will suggest you use the software alcohol 120% instead. Alcohol 120% lets you to mount images of any extension and with alcohol 120% you can mount up-to 32 virtual drives at the same time.
