Can customers access their bank account balance through the EBPS payment system?
No. The EBPS payment system is designed to allow customers to pay their invoices of a client by having our client either have funds drawn from the customer bank account or by having the charges on the bill charged to that customer’s credit or debit card account. It is not a bank access software program that allows clients to do this but rather the EBPS program for EBPP. Likewise, the EBPS program will not let a client or a customer into the bank system. For a customer to check his/her bank balance, they would have to do so through the bank’s online software system using Internet access. Is the EBPS payment system available in my area? The EBPS payment system is available anywhere in the United States. Due to banking rules and Internet security restrictions, the EBPS payment system is not currently available in any other country other than the U.S. Payments are made through banks that are connected to the U.S. Federal Reserve System.
