Can CTG dollars be used as local match on a construction project?
Recipients may not use CTG funding for construction. However, leveraging other resources and related ongoing efforts to promote sustainability are strongly encouraged. Using CTG federal funds to satisfy local match requirements for other lines of funding is at the discretion of the other funder, not CDC. Could an eligible county (population >500,000) within a state designate a geographic area that includes four to five contiguous counties (each with a population <500,000) as a target geographic area for capacity building and submit one application from the local health department within the eligible county specifying this geographic area?
