Can cruise lines ask if a woman is pregnant?

I don’t mean to be rude (I am an avid cruiser) but be sensible! The reason is obvious: you could go into labor. They don’t have the equipment to help you or the baby, putting you both at risk. Hospitals are often many many hours away. That is why they don’t allow it. I see that your facts say it is a short cruise and you spend a lot of time docked, but that really doesn’t matter because you do spend some time in the middle of the ocean, and that is all that it would take. Call the cruise line and tell them you can’t go b/c you are pregnant. They should at least give you a credit so you can use the money for your next cruise. I would think they would even just refund your money, but I don’t actually know that. Good luck!
