Can Crochet patterns be converted to knitting pattern?

0

There are some books on how to convert crochet to knitting and vice-versa, but you can also go to: http://www.ehow.com/how_18631_convert-crochet-pattern.html Also, if you want to get used to the conversion, you can find some patterns on www.lionbrand.com for which there are both a knitted and a crochet version. I do see once in a while a pattern that looks great and happened to be crochet when I mostly knit, but since I can do both, I usually don’t bother to try converting. Beside, there are so many patterns for each craft that I really haven’t had a reason to try it. For free patterns on line, I would recommend that you look at: www.knittingpatternscentral.com for knitting and www.crochetpatternscentral.com for crochet. There are hundreds of patterns to chose from and some of them will get you to other web sites with more free patterns. Than maybe you won’t need to convert, it’s so much simpler. Have fun, and Happy New Year!
