Can CPT code 94360 – determination of resistance to airflow, oscillatory, or plethysmography be used for impulse oscillometry?
94360 doesn’t specify the type of oscillation technique used, only that oscillatory or plethysmography techniques are acceptable. So, yes, 94360 would be appropriate for the use of impulse oscillometry measurement of airway resistance (and easier on the patient, too).
