Can courses I took at my previous institution(s) be considered for transfer credit by NYIT?
Yes. Coursework is considered for transfer credit if the school at which it was taken is certified by a regional accreditation body such as the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Coursework is also considered from other qualified schools that are acceptable to the standards of NYIT. If you are unsure if NYIT accepts credits from your school, please contact our Office of Admissions at 800.345.NYIT.
