If you are sure it is conjunctivitis, why not call your vet and have him send you some eye drops. Eye infections in dogs can get real serious real fast. I had a Samoyed (he’s with the Angels now) and he was the sweetest, most loving dog. There are other conditions that can cause redness and discharge in the eye, too. My Sammy used to get cysts on his eyelids because my neighbor had her grass treated with herbicides and they would spray it over into my yard where he loves to lay.
