Can Community users use library workstations?
Community users and off-campus high school students must present a current community library card. To apply for a library card, fill out an application and show a photo ID at the circulation desk. Community users and off-campus high school students must request computer access at the circulation desk. Users will be expected to provide the current date, time in, name, library card number (barcode), signature, and identify which computer workstation they will be using. Users sign up in 30-minute increments and are expected to check out at the circulation desk at the end of their 30-minute time. Library staff will physically log them on to the workstation. Users may sign up for an additional 30 minutes based on availability. Community users and off-campus high school students are limited to a maximum of 60 minutes per day. Users will have Internet access only. College policies regarding Internet, e-mail, and computer use will be enforced.
