Can cloning be use to create armies?
Several things have to happen first. 1) Cloning has to become more procedural and less ‘shot in the dark.’ It’s doable from a scientific standpoint, but not from a productions one. And that’s only with animals, not humans. 2) Cloning would assume that you had a superior human that you would want to clone. One that is physically and mentally superior, but completely subservient. As the human genome is still being sorted out, it will be some time before we can start altering genes to do things that we want. 3) Large facilities would be needed, and unless it was the major powers that were making these clones, someone would notice the activity of a large army.
