Can clomifene cause problems?
Along with their useful effects all medicines can cause unwanted side effects. These usually improve as your body adjusts to the new medicine. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist if any of the following side effects continue or become troublesome: hot flushes, tummy pain or discomfort, nausea (feeling sick), vomiting (being sick), breast tenderness, headache, bleeding between menstrual periods, heavy periods, skin rashes, dizziness, lightheadedness, low mood, insomnia, fits or thinning of the hair. Important: If you experience any problems with eyesight, such as blurred vision, spots or flashes in front of the eyes contact your doctor as soon as possible. If you experience any other worrying side effects, which you think may be due to this medicine, discuss them with your pharmacist.
