Can classical guitar play pop songs?

That is not true. The difference mainly is not the sound it’s the techniques. Classical guitar is hard because its techniques are very very complicated. You can’t play everything classical guitars play on acoustic. If you do play classical music on guitar you can sure play any other type of music because everything else is a lot easier. That is why it takes rock musicians 12 hours to play guitar but it take classical guitarists 12 years to play guitar (a quote from the show 60 Minutes)! No one plays pop on classical guitars because the sound of acoustic and electric suit pop better. Just like no one plays pop on a flute.
