Can Claredi Classic accept zipped EDI files? Yes. Analysis of zipped files works as follows: • All uploaded files are examined for a zip file header; non-zipped files are allowed to continue normally. • Zipped files are examined for unzipped size (Ingenix advises that an unzipped file size should not exceed 100 MB). • Files are unzipped (directory info is ignored) and are individually passed through the same filter as a single file. Those that do not have proper ISA/GS/ST segments are ignored. • Extracted files are entered into the system with their actual names and sizes as reflected in the zipped file.
