Can civilians buy assault rifle accessories during an assault weapon ban?
don’t forget that the “assault weapons ban” is not gone, All it takes is a signature by the next president to make it law again. Under the previous ban, you could buy parts, accessories etc but not the actual weapon, and of course no new high capacity magazines could be made, so prices for high capacity magazines shot up from under $25.00 to as high as $300.00 for some of them, with most hanging around the $150.00 level. But it depends on the wording. Also, don’t forget that our VP elect, Joe Biden is the actual author of the assault weapons ban that Bill Clinton signed into law, and that Both he and Obama voted for or sponsored every single gun control measure that crossed their desk. Well, people say that they voted for Obama for “change” ……..
