Answer Hi, Chris… Your suspicions about your father are most likely correct. And, it’s not inconveivable that he could have Lyme, too, because the tests for that are so unreliable. There are various co-infections that can occur with Lyme and it is critical that he be tested for these. As you may have read in many of my posts, the doxy is like shooting a battleship with a slingshot. I was on 8 different antibiotics over 37 months for a case of Lyme gone untreated for two years. One co-infection in particular is notorious for causing extreme fatigue. It’s called Babesiosis and it’s a blood-borne parasite.
