It is never an easy task for a newcomer to win against established politicians. Christine O’Donnell may be an exception to the rule and win the nomination. She perhaps has more than the usual obstacles in her path, but nothing that can’t be overcome. Beau Biden was believed to be the heir apparent to the Senate seat previously held by his father. Therefore a place holder was appointed to Joe Biden’s Senate seat when he became the Vice President. Scuttlebutt has it that Beau Biden made his decision not to run when he realized his opponent was Mike Castle.
