Can Christians recognize and commemorate Yom Kippur?

0

Although Christians and “Jewish believers in Jesus” believe that Jesus Christ was the ultimate sacrifice for all sins (Romans 6:10), we can still commemorate the Jewish Day of Atonement as a reminder to be truly repentant. All people who believe in God need confession and repentance. It will also be a good testimony to our Jewish friends that we respect and know about their day. In the Tampa Bay area, the Messianic congregation Shoresh David, a place of worship for both Christian and Jewish believers in Messiah, will host open-to-the-public Yom Kippur Eve services: In Tampa at 7:00 PM: 4320 Bay to Bay Blvd. In Wesley Chapel at 7:30 PM: 33425 on Highway 54. See directions to both locations here.
