Can Christians eat meat on Friday during lent?

No, you can’t. Not during Fridays or Ash Wednesday. I think the story was because Jesus went into the desert and didn’t eat anything for 40 days…or something like that. HIH!! ^.

It is your choice. If you want to be a good Christian, then don’t eat. It’s not a sin, but doing it is good for Judgement Day.

Catholic Answer (it varies from church to church.): No, you’re not supposed to. I’m not exactly sure why, but we abstain from meat on fridays and Holy days until easter. Fish is allowed.
