Can children use the diet (and the bars)?
The diet (and the bars) are ideal for children because they need to be in the Zone even more than adults. For children, assume that they have 10% body fat in order to make their lean body mass calculations. Then, whatever their activity factor actually is, increase it by two levels. This is to ensure more than adequate protein for growth spurts. For children, 1/2 of a nutrition bar is a great snack, whereas a whole nutrition bar is an excellent meal replacement.
