Can children outside the G&T cohort participate in the ational summer school programme?
The specification for the summer schools sets out which pupils should be targeted. Since there is a requirement that 50% of places are allocated to pupils completing Year 6, and that other pupils will be completing Years 7 – 9, there may be some cases in which pupils outside the G&T cohort are allocated summer school places.
