Can chapters or menus be created with a DVD recorder?
The simple answer is yes. Most DVD recorders even do this automatically by inserting index marks every five minutes or so, onto a recorded DVD. Some may even allow you to insert your own index marks. If you want to create chapters, you must record video segments separately. You can do this by simply recording, then stopping where you want to end the chapter, then repeating the process.
