The NRC has in place procedures for recognizing certification processes of specialty boards. In accordance with these procedures, Agreement States may recognize the certification processes of specialty boards that meet requirements of rules compatible, under Compatibility Category B, with those in 10 CFR Part 35. The names of these board certification processes will be included in the listing of recognized board certification processes on the NRCs web site, with annotations indicating which Agreement States recognized the boards certification processes, after the NRC is notified of the recognition.
