The Georgia Greenspace Commission is evaluating criteria for accepting cemeteries as greenspace. Under the criteria being considered, to count as greenspace cemeteries would need to have been established 50 years or longer, have no active internment, and contain enough land in a natural condition to provide water quality benefits.
