Can Catholics talk directly to God?

Yes, we can talk directly to God, but so can any believer. The difficulty comes in hearing God’s response. If you tell God it’s a really nice day and thank him, you may hear His “your welcome” in the form of a gentle breeze, or hearing a song bird, or seeing a butterfly. If you are asking Him for something, He may say yes and give it to you right away, or He may say no, or not yet. If you are lonely or hurting but have cultivated your friends through Faith, God will come and comfort you through those friends. It’s a matter of studying, loving, serving and praying that help one talk to God. In this day and age, too many of us forget about Our Father in Heaven. As good as things can be on this earth, it’s important to live a holy life, so that in our next life we may be with God, the Father, the Son, Jesus and The Holy Spirit which is love itself.
