Can CatchmentSIM calculate impervious proportions for subcatchments based on GIS databases?

0

Yes. A GIS layer containing polygons can be directly imported into CatchmentSIM and used to assign impervious proportions to the subcatchments. Different impervious proportions can be assigned to each polygon based on a data column in the GIS file or manually after import into CatchmentSIM. The CatchmentSIM impervious polygon database also allows simple SQL type queries to manipulate impervious proportions individually or based on common attributes in other GIS data columns.
